We came from a great rated school district in. NY . Our goal was to move to an area with a slower-paced lifestyle, with good schools. We looked into some great private schools within an hour of where we were moving. Great schools but we did not care for the religious affiliations of most of them. We decided to check out the local public schools in Walhalla, since Walhalla seems to lean on the more liberal side of things. I have been amazed at how wonderful the middle and high schools are! My children are in the advanced classes and are doing phenomenal. Zero regrets choosing Walhalla.

My experience at Walhalla High School has been overall positive, with many standout aspects and areas for improvement. The school offers a wide range of opportunities and resources, but there are some areas that could be enhanced.
The Science department stands out for its excellence. The teachers are knowledgeable, and the curriculum is challenging and rewarding. The department's emphasis on real-world applications has helped me develop a deeper understanding of science.
In terms of areas for improvement, the food quality at Walhalla High School could be better. While it's understandable that school meals are government regulated, efforts to improve the quality and variety of options would be appreciated by students.
Overall, my experience at Walhalla High School has been positive, thanks to its dedicated faculty, diverse opportunities, and supportive community. With some improvements in certain areas, the school has the potential to become even better in the future.

My school is one of the best schools around dealing with academics. They are heavily focused on students getting a good education which is different from other schools in our district. The best experience I've had is dealing/interacting with teachers. They make going to school so much more enjoyable and teach us in depth. The worst experience is the student involvement. Everyone isn't as interested as a certain population of our school which makes it a bit boring at times.
